Thinking About The Future/ Songs
THINKING ABOUT THE FUTURE
I've been thinking and talking with my family about the future. If the new law isn't passed or if it is delayed, I should be able to get my driver's license when I'm sixteen. That means I'll need a car... or truck... or van...
SOOOOO my dad and I have talked, and he wants to get me a truck. That's exactly what I wanted, too. But it's not gonna be a huge gas devouring truck, I'm gonna get a little Ford Ranger or something like that. I don't mind at all, I love those trucks. Anyway, my dad is convinced that if he gets me that, I'll only be able to take one friend with me at a time. Parents... so suspicious... but it's okay! My friends are just the kinds of idiots who would all chill in the bed of the truck while I drive.
Also... I've been thinking about a job. My mom wants me to be a computer engineer since I'm pretty good at math. She wants me to rack in the big bucks... That way I can buy her stuff xD Dad wants me to be a lawyer. He thinks it's a great job because it "puts the bad guys behind bars." But they don't care if I don't get the job they want me to get, they believe I should be anything I want.
I don't really want to be either of the two... I want to do something artistic. My passion is art, whether it is drawing or music. To be honest, I want to be a musician. I want to tour the world in a rock band, whether it be alternative, punk, or metal.

Okay, so with every journal, I'll be featuring a song. Each song will fit a certain criteria. For example, one song might be "The Song for Being Emo" or "The Happiest Song Ever" or "The Song to Listen to While Breaking Shit" And don't worry, every song will be different. It's not like I'll post all punk songs... or all rap songs... I'm gonna try and make it as diverse as possible.
Today's song will be... and I regret this one... The Song For Being Emo. I swear, this is the most depressing song ever. Whenever I'm pissed or feeling extremely sad, I just listen to this song. It actually helps, too... because the lyrics of the song are so potent. I find myself connecting with the singer's pain.

Anyway, it's a fantastic game, except it gets boring after a while, too. The only thing that kept me there was my guild. I made a bunch of friends... and you know how it is leaving...
